On 6 November 1999, Australia held a referendum to determine whether or not the country should become a republic whereby the governor-general and monarch would be replaced by one office, the President of the Commonwealth of Australia. Long story short Australia voted NO. 12.9 million voted, John Howard was Prime Minister at the time!
Move forward to 1st January 2004, where the WA State Governor Kerry Sanderson and Jim McGinty removed the Queen as the head of State and placed Governor Sanderson as the Head of State.
They co-signed the Act titled “Acts Amendment Repeal Courts and Legal Practice Act”. I am not an expert in constitutional law, however it states that any changes to the constitution need a public referendum. So, therefore any governance beyond that point is null and void. What do you think, in light of our current situation?
