Fear is the greatest weapon of control ever invented. It keeps humanity small, compliant, and divided – endlessly reacting to external chaos instead of responding from inner calm.
Turn on the television (or as I like to call it, Tell-Lie-Vision) – the propaganda machine — and you’ll be fed a steady diet of doom: wars, pandemics, terrorists, criminals, crisis, death.

Night after night, we are programmed through “programs,” conditioned to believe that danger lurks in every shadow and that safety only comes from obeying authority.
But ask yourself — who owns the news? In Australia, a handful of corporations dominate what we see and hear. News Corp, Nine Entertainment, and Seven West Media control most of the nation’s print, television, and digital outlets. A small circle of executives and boards effectively sets the tone of national conversation – deciding which stories make headlines and which quietly fade away.
Behind these media giants sit even larger financial players. Global investment firms such as BlackRock and Vanguard hold major stakes in many of the world’s most powerful corporations – including those that own or influence news networks, technology platforms, and pharmaceutical industries. They manage trillions of dollars, giving them enormous sway over what information reaches the public and how it is framed.

In simple terms, the same funds that invest in corporate media also hold vast positions in Big Tech, energy, and pharmaceuticals. The potential for conflict of interest is clear: when fear drives ratings and ratings drive profit, calm is bad for business.
These institutional investors don’t need to issue editorial commands; the system itself rewards fear and sensationalism because that is what sustains attention – and attention sustains revenue.
From Australia to America, the pattern is the same. The real power rarely sits with governments or journalists; it rests with the financiers behind the curtain. They fund the machinery that keeps the collective nervous system on edge, feeding an endless cycle of crisis and consumption.
Who Benefits from Fear?
When fear becomes currency, someone is always profiting.
During the pandemic, fear drove behaviour – panic buying, compliance, isolation, and dependency – but it also drove profit. Pharmaceutical corporations recorded record-breaking sales. Technology companies expanded their surveillance and streaming empires. Media outlets enjoyed unprecedented viewership as audiences tuned in daily for updates, while governments consolidated emergency powers that have been slow to dissolve.
It’s not about blame; it’s about awareness. When we follow the money, we begin to see how fear, profit, and control are interconnected.
Fear fuels compliance. Compliance maintains control. And control ensures the system continues to serve those at the top of the economic chain.
The deeper question becomes: Who are the real stakeholders in the fear economy — and what happens when we stop investing our attention in it?

What Prolonged Fear Does to the Nervous System
Constant exposure to fear – whether through the news, social media, or conversation – keeps the body locked in fight, flight, or freeze. The nervous system doesn’t distinguish between a real threat and a perceived one. Each time we watch another crisis unfold, the body floods with adrenaline and cortisol, preparing to defend against danger that never arrives.
Over time, this drains energy reserves, weakens immunity, disrupts digestion and sleep, and creates the internal conditions for anxiety, depression, and chronic fatigue.
In Bio-Electric terms, it short-circuits the body’s natural rhythm. The voltage that should flow evenly through our meridians becomes erratic – the field contracts, and our frequency lowers.
This is how collective fear becomes an energetic epidemic. When millions tune into the same vibration of panic, the human field becomes charged with static. It takes conscious regulation – deep breathing, grounding, time in nature, meditation, and balanced nutrition – to bring the system back to coherence.
Calm isn’t passive; it’s a physiological and spiritual recalibration.
Each moment you choose calm, you re-stabilise your own frequency – and that ripples outward to everyone around you.
During recent years, many people felt overwhelmed by the constant stream of fear-based messaging from both media and official channels.

I wrote about this in My Corona Timeline — a personal record of how collective fear was amplified through daily press conferences, rolling coverage, and crisis rhetoric.
That experience showed how repetition and emotional manipulation can shape behaviour on a mass scale. Awareness is the antidote. We each have the power to pause, question, and choose calm over panic.

Because fear is simply False Evidence Appearing Real. And the secret to breaking the spell is simple: do not feed the fears.
What You Can Do
- Turn off the noise. Stop watching the news. Unplug from the drip-feed of anxiety. Peace begins in silence.
- Focus on your life. Ask, “What’s happening in my world right now?” What needs healing, what needs gratitude, what needs your attention?
- Discern information from programming. Feel the vibration – truth feels calm; fear feels contracted.
- Protect your energy field. What you allow in shapes your internal frequency.
- Choose love over fear. Every time you choose trust, compassion, and presence, you unplug from collective panic and help stabilise the field for others.
Real-World Reflections
Earlier this week, I was interviewed on Channel 9 News about the Cedric Street freeway closure. My comment was simple:
“It’s happening, so make peace with it — and so that when you’re driving on the roads, you are calmer.”

This is the essence of calm as revolution. Whether it’s traffic, politics, or the endless crisis-cycle of the media, peace begins with acceptance and awareness. When we stop resisting what’s happening and meet life with calm presence, we move through it with ease and grace.

While attending the Free Speech Summit on the Gold Coast as a keynote speaker, I was interviewed by John Safran for his upcoming documentary on free speech, Shut Your Big Fat Mouth – a 2025 exploration of media censorship and free expression in Australia. I had no idea who he was at the time, which will no doubt make the interview even more entertaining. Through open conversation and satire, Safran exposes how public narratives are shaped, filtered, and censored. It will be fascinating to see the finished production.
Fellow keynote speakers Dave Oneegs, Michael Gray Griffiths, and Jacquie Dundee also shared the stage – individuals I deeply admire for their courage to speak out despite being heavily shadow-banned and censored.

The world doesn’t need more fear; it needs more awakened hearts. When we stop reacting to the illusion of crisis, we reclaim our creative power.
