The Ho’oponopono Prayer

The Ho’oponopono Prayer is the doorway to the Divine Self. It is a simple technique that can be used to open your heart to forgiveness and let go of the past. Ho’oponopono is a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. The Hawaiian word translates into English simply as correction, with the synonyms manage or supervise.

A key part of this practice is having an inner-standing that everything happens in your reality is a projection of the mental programming and beliefs that originate from your ancestors, the environment of your childhood, your past lives, and the development of your current life. Beliefs constitute your truth and affect your perception of yourself and the world around you.

The Ho’oponopono Prayer has two purposes. Firstly, to open communication that brings people together to clear any misunderstandings surrounding them and secondly, it regains self-love and restores harmony.

I’m Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You, I Love You.

I’m Sorry: Assists those using this therapy to take responsiblitiy for what they want to solve.

Forgive Me: It is sought that the body forgive the subject for not having been released the burdens that have caused them discomfort.

Thank You: It is appreciated that these thoughts or feelings have been expressed because it is an opportunity to amend them.

“If we can accept that we are the sum total of all past thoughts, emotions, words, deeds and actions and that our present lives and choices are colored or shaded by this memory bank of the past, then we begin to see how a process of correcting or setting aright can change our lives, our families and our society.”

Original Ho’oponopono Prayer

“Divine Creator, Father, Mother, Son, all in One. If I, my family, my relatives and ancestors, offend your family, relatives and ancestors, in thoughts, facts, or deeds, from the beginning of our creation to the present, We ask your forgiveness. Let this clear, purify, release and cut off all negative memories, blockages, energies and vibrations. Transmute these undesirable energies into pure light and so it is.

To clear my subconscious of all the emotional charge stored in it, I say over and over again during my day, the keywords of ho’oponopono: I’m sorry, forgive me, I love you, I’m grateful. I declare myself in peace with all the people of the earth and with whom I have outstanding debts. For this moment and in your time, for all that I do not like in my present life: I am sorry, forgive me, I love you, I am grateful. I release all those I believe to be receiving damage and mistreatment because they simply give me back what I did to them before, in some past life: I’m sorry, forgive me, I love you, I’m grateful.

Even though it is hard for me to forgive someone, it is me who asks that person for forgiveness now. For this moment, all the time, for everything I don’t like in my present life: I’m so sorry, forgive me, I love you, I’m grateful. For this sacred space that I live day by day and with which I am not comfortable: I am sorry, forgive me, I love you, I am grateful. For the difficult relationships to which I only keep bad memories: I’m sorry, forgive me, I love you, I’m grateful.

For all that I do not like in my present life, in my past life, in my work and what is around me, Divinity, cleans in me what is contributing to my scarcity: I’m sorry, forgive me, I love you. I love, I am grateful.

If my physical body experiences anxiety, worry, guilt, fear, sadness, pain, pronouncement and think, “My memories, I love you. I am grateful for the opportunity to free you and me. ” I’m sorry, forgive me, I love you, I’m grateful. Right now, I say I love you. I think of my emotional health and that of all my loved ones. I love you.

For my needs and to learn to wait without anxiety, without fear, I acknowledge my memories here at this moment: I am sorry, forgive me, I love you, I am grateful.

Beloved Mother Earth, who I am: if I, my family, my relatives and ancestors mistreat you with thoughts, words, facts and actions, from the beginning of our creation to the present, I ask your forgiveness. Let it clear and purify, release and cut off all negative memories, blockages, energies and vibrations. Transmute these undesirable energies into pure light and so it is.

In conclusion, I say that this prayer is my door, my contribution to your emotional health, which is the same as mine. So be well, and as you heal, I tell you that: I’m so sorry for the memories of pain I share with you. I apologize for joining my path to yours for healing, thank you for being here in me. I love you for being who you are. ”

The ancient Hawaiians have used this psycho-spiritual method for thousands of years to use their mind and spirit. The method they used is Ho’oponopono (i.e. cause, act properly, correct a mistake).

They used this dynamic method to remove the negative effects of thoughts, words, emotions, and deeds from previous incarnations and from current life, cleansing themselves spiritually, mentally, and physically through a process of repentance, forgiveness, and transmutation.
