An Act to authorise expenditure in the financial year ending on 30 June 2021 to make payments in respect of extraordinary or unforeseen matters or to make advances for certain purposes. [Assented to 8 June 2021]

The cost of delivering the Western Australian component of the national COVID-19 vaccination program and the forecast impact of election commitments to be delivered in 2020–21 that will further support the community and invest in the state’s economic and social recovery from the pandemic.

The $750,000,000 (seven hundred and fifty million dollars) increase sought by the Treasurer’s Advance Authorisation Bill 2021 brings the total amount sought for the Treasurer’s Advance limit for the 2020-21 financial year to $1.439 billion.
