THE FABIAN SOCIETY is a BRITISH SOCIALIST SOCIETY founded in 1884 with the purpose of advancing the principles of democratic socialism via gradualist and reformist effort in democracies, rather than by revolutionary overthrow.
Named after QUINTUS FABIUS MAXIMUS VERRUSCOSUS (280-203 BC), better known as FABIUS CUNCTATOR, who was a Roman consul in 233, 228, 215, 214, and 209 BC and DICTATOR in 221 and 217 BC. FABIANS VALUE SOCIALISM, social and economic doctrine that calls for public rather than PRIVATE OWNERSHIP OR CONTROL OF PROPERTY and natural resources. According to the socialist view, individuals do not live or work in isolation but live in cooperation with one another. Furthermore, everything that people produce is in some sense a social product, and everyone who contributes to the production of a good is entitled to a share in it. Society as a whole, therefore, should own or at least control property for the benefit of all its members.
THIS SOUNDS LIKE GLOBALISM!
The Fabian strategy is a military strategy where pitched battles and frontal assaults are avoided in favor of wearing down an opponent through a war of attrition and indirection. While avoiding decisive battles, the side employing this strategy harasses its enemy through skirmishes to cause attrition, disrupt supply and affect morale. Employment of this strategy implies that the side adopting this strategy believes time is on its side, usually because the side employing the strategy is fighting in, or close to, their homeland and the enemy is far from home and by necessity has long and costly supply lines. It may also be adopted when no feasible alternative strategy can be devised

The FAMOUS FABIAN WINDOW depicts two men pictured on the top RHC of the window are holding hammers and are banging on a reddy/organge coloured round sphere that has just come out of a hot furnace. The symbolises the earth. The earth looks hot because they have just manufactured a crisis and they can remould it because of the crisis.
PROBLEM – REACTION – SOLUTION
On the sheild it says PRAY DEVOUTLY, HAMMER STOUTLY. The people at the bottom of the window are praying to a stack of books of FABIAN BOOKS and ESSAYS. The most disturbing symbol on this window is the shield with a WOLF in SHEEPS CLOTHING.
Despite the very obivious differences in policies and attitude and positioning alot of the values that George Bernard Shaw stood for would be very recognisable at least I hope they would in todays labour party.

A think tank and a membership run movement.
The Australian Fabians is an independent left-leaning think tank and a democratic membership society with over 1000 members. We influence political and public thinking and provide a space for broad and open-minded debate. The Australian Fabians:
- Contribute to progressive political thinking by generating original ideas that reflect a higher order of thinking in order to meet the challenges of the times.
- Contribute to a progressive political culture by disseminating these ideas and getting them into the public domain.
- Are active movement of people who identify with, are engaged in and who encourage progressive political debate around social justice, economic and political reform.
- Influence the ideas and policies of political parties, especially the Australian Labor Party
As a think tank we have a big impact on political and policy debate.
If you have read my blog: OUR PETITION OF RIGHT you will already know that the our GOVERNMENT is nothing more that a PRIVATELY OWNED POLITICAL PARTY and many of our past PRIME MINISTERS such as BOB HAWKE and JULIA GILLARD are FABIANS and have addressed the FABIAN SOCIETY who are a PRIVATELY OWNED SOCIETY who openly states that their GOAL is to influence POLITICAL DECISIONS.
BOB HAWKE in his speech talked about PROPAGANDA which is defined as information, often inaccurate information, which a political organization publishes or broadcasts in order to influence people.

Trade within the Commonwealth to be free
On the imposition of uniform duties of customs, trade, commerce, and intercourse among the States, whether by means of internal carriage or ocean navigation, shall be absolutely free.
But notwithstanding anything in this Constitution, goods imported before the imposition of uniform duties of customs into any State, or into any Colony which, whilst the goods remain therein, becomes a State, shall, on thence passing into another State within two years after the imposition of such duties, be liable to any duty chargeable on the importation of such goods into the Commonwealth, less any duty paid in respect of the goods on their importation.
One of the most TREASONOUS POLITICIANS of our time is BOB HAWKE who is responsible for the AUSTALIA ACT 1986 which is an Act to bring constitutional arrangements affecting the Commonwealth and the States into conformity with the status of the Commonwealth of Australia as a sovereign, independent and federal nation.
This removed the power from the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and gave it to INDIVIDUAL STATES, removing our constitutional rights. Remember COLLECTIVISM over INDIVIDUALISM!

VISION
EMILY’s List provides a financial, political and personal support network for progressive Labor women in Australian politics.
We do this through financial support, mentorship, training, campaigning, mission lobbying and networking.
According to their website EMILYS LIST is proud to have supported 270 women get elected to state and federal parliaments.
Giving women candidates financial support early in their campaigns provides the foundations on which to build a successful campaign and attract more financial support.
HERSTORY
In the early 1990s, it became clear to many women within the ALP and broader labour movement that structural change within the ALP was needed to ensure sufficient opportunities for women to become candidates and MPs. Australian Parliamentary Library research showed that, after almost a century of suffrage in Australia, women’s participation in many state and territory parliaments was barely over single figures, with women making up just 14% of the national legislature.
Long-term Labor community and women’s campaigner Leonie Morgan AM had seen the work of EMILY’s List – an organisation established in the US in 1985 to fund campaigns for pro-choice Democratic women – and advocated strongly for the establishment of a similar network to support Australian progressive women candidates. Leonie joined with women such as Kay Setches, Joan Kirner AC and Candy Broad to build support for the idea in Victoria first and then nationally.
